Hindu King of Sri Lanka and demonic lord of the Rakshas
that is invulnerable after the Ramayana due to his asceticism,
so that in order to overcome him and his power the god Vishnu
incarnated as Rama during the Avatara (sankrit: descent) and
defeated him together with Hanuman (god of the apes).
Ravana is regarded as the son of Vishrava and Nikasa
and halfbrother of Kubera. His body has ten heads,
twenty arms and have a dark skincolor.
