Demonic goddess of the underworld in the Acadian mythology.
She is the wife of Nergal and master of the land of the
death (Land of no return), which was given to her at the beginning of time.
She is the opponent of her sister Ishtar and master of
many demons, which are sent by her or her
messenger Nammtar to harm people.
