Boggart
Mean little ghosts in houses, far relatives of the Bogies and Brownies.
Gnomelike little beings, dark-skinned and hairy, they wear dirty rags as
clothing. Pretty clumsy, and make therefore a lot of noise. They make as
much mischief as they can, scare the chickens, throw over
milkcontainers, pinch sleeping babies in the nose, discharge clogs, and
other mean things like that. Often the only possibility that remains is to
move out of the house to get rid of those pests, since there is not yet a
method to cope with Boggarts.
