Sexual deviations/perversions
(after ICD10)

Exhibitionism

The returning or constant affinity to show the own genital organs to mostly the other gender in public, without demanding or wanting further contact. Mostly the presentation is accompanied by an erection, and is followed by masturbation.

Fetischism

Use of dead objects to get sexually stimulated and satisfied. Many fetishs symbolise an expand of the human body, such as clothing or shoes. Other examples are things out of gum, plastic or leather. Fetish objects have an individual meaning. In some cases they are only used to increase the normal sexual stimulation. (For example the partner has to wear a special clothing)

Fetishistic transvestism

To reach sexual stimulation, clothing of the other gender is worn, to pretend to be another person. Fetishistic transvestism differs from transsexual transvestism by the clear connection between sexual stimulation and the desire to undress the clothes after an orgasm. Can be a early state in the progress to transsexualism.

Ichdystone sexual orientation.

The gender and sexual preference is clear (hetero, homo, bi or praepubertary), but the affected person wants to change it because of psychological distortion or distortion of behaviour. Maybe undergoes treatment to get this changement.

Multiple distortion of sexual preference

In some cases people have abnormal sexual preferences without one dominating. The most common form is the combination of fetishism, transvestism and sadomasochism.

Paedophilia

Sexual preference for children, boys or girls or children of both genders, which are mostly before their puberty or in an early state of it.

Sadomasochism

Preferred are sexual activities with causing of pain or humiliation or bondage. The person who has to stand this torture is called a masochist, the one who causes it is called sadist. Often a person is sexually stimulated in sadistic and masochistic activities.

Sexual relationship distortion

Gender or sexual orientation (hetero, homo or bi) causes problems at starting or continuing a relationship with a sexual partner.

Sexual maturation crisis

The affected person is unsecure about its gender identity or sexual preference, accompanied with fear and depression. Often young people have this, which aren’t sure about their homo, hetero or bisexual preference, or people with stable sexual orientation, often during a long relationship, that recognise that their sexual preference changes.

Other distortion of the sexual preference

There is a variety of other sexual preferences or activities, such as obscene telephone calls, pushing the own body to the one of others to gain sexual stimulation in crowds, sexual activities with animals, strangulation and use of anoxia to increase sexual stimulation.

Distortion of gender identity during childhood

This distortion shows up in early childhood, always long before puberty. It’s shown trough a enduring and strong unease for the own gender, accompanied by the wish or the asseveration to belong to the other gender. There is a constant employ with clothing or activities of the other gender and the refusal of the own one.

Transsexualism

The wish to belong to the other gender and to be accepted as that. Often accompanied by a unease for the own gender or the feeling, not to belong to it. There is the wish of a surgical and hormonal treatment to change the own gender as good as possible.

Transvestitism under upkeep of both genders

Wearing of both gender’s clothes, to make part of both genders. There is no wish to change the own gender, the changement of clothing is not accompanied by sexual stimulation.

Voyeurism

Returning or constant urge to watch the sexual activities or intime actions (undressing) of other people without their knowledge. This is leading to sexual stimulation and masturbation.
