Agdistis was generated when the semen of Zeus fell
on the sleeping Kybele. As the gods couldn’t control Agdistis anymore,
they made the monster drunk and bound it to a
tree with his genital organs. As Agdistis woke up and
tried to get free, he castrated himself.
